Fishing With a Legend

I had the honor of taking Bill Bakke founder of Native Fish Society fishing last week.  Wow what an experience to spend some time with him and talk about wild fish.  Talk about somebody who has some serious fishing Karma.

Sandy River Still Has Chrome

Fishing the Sandy River in April and May is a lot of fun!  When you get that grab you never know what is on the other end.  A Winter, a Summer, or possibly even a Springer.  This is a very cool time of the year.  This fish was one of three fish hooked that day and was a very bright little wild winter hen.

You Always Remember Your First

Longtime Steelheading enthusiast and Western Rivers Conservancy employee Anne Tattam has landed countless Summer Steelhead, however the prized Winter Steelhead has long eluded her.  Until now. Congrats Anne!
